MORE LIGHT: Dig Deeper Into What We Believe & Why
Love Quest International Church family is a non-denominational church that believes Jesus Christ is perfect theology.
“If you had known me you would’ve known My Father also” John 14:7.
We believe Our Father is rebuilding in and through Christ the House of David, not merely a physical building, but a people, His Church. A people of ALL NATIONS united together that worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. We are a body of breakthrough believers that are ready and willing to contend for our region, country and the world.
Acts 15:16, 17; John 4:24; Psalm 51
We believe and partake in:
WATER BAPTISM
Jesus said, “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19
Baptism symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus and our own relationship to His victory over sin, death and the grave (Romans 6:35). The one being baptized is presenting himself as a dead person to be buried with Christ, saying, “I am finished with the old life. I want to live in the power of the Resurrected Life of Jesus. I will be loyal to the kingdom of God.”
Baptism means the ability to face God with a clear conscience, for there is in every true baptism the virtue of Christ’s rising from the dead. (I Peter 3:21) We must be very careful not to conclude that baptism saves. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “By grace are you saved through faith.” We are not saved by church membership, faithful attendance, the Lord’s supper, or baptism, or all of these things put together. We entrust ourselves to Jesus Christ as our Savior and He alone has the power to save.
THE LORD’S SUPPER (HOLY COMMUNION)
WHAT IS THE LORD’S SUPPER?
The Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion is an opportunity to acknowledge and remember the death and resurrection of Jesus. As guided in the Word, The Lord has chosen two common and ordinary elements to remind us whenever we eat them, of His sacrifice and love for us. While these elements become especially meaningful at the time of communion, they are also there to remind us of this love at every meal of the day. These elements are meant to serve as physical reminders of the Body and Blood of Jesus which was broken and bruised that we might be reconciled back to the Father.
WHY WE PARTICIPATE IN THE LORD’S SUPPER?
As outlined by the Apostle Paul, this act is an instruction from the Lord to be done in remembrance of Him.
How should we come to the table? We do not have any requirements for participating in Holy Communion and extend the invitation to all come through our doors that profess faith in Jesus to participate. We encourage you as you approach this holy moment to examine our lives. We should not hesitate to set things right with our fellow believers and with the Lord. We should come with a heart of repentance. We should know we are loved unconditionally. We should know that WE ARE FREE INDEED! This practice gives an opportunity to have the Lord search our hearts, create an opportunity of repentance but also rejoice in the victory that has been given to us.
We do not have any requirements for participating in Holy Communion and extend the invitation to all come through our doors that profess faith in Jesus to participate.

DELIVERANCE
Deliverance is not an option and freedom in a bound world is a gift from the grace of God. The core of Jesus’ ministry is the work of deliverance unto freedom. We are Free Indeed! Being free and experiencing that freedom in our everyday lives are two different things. We are a family that works to enter His Rest, so that we may experience the freedom that Jesus Christ died for us to experience. Through His redemptive work, through the power of the blood shed for us, He has conquered sin and death which enables us to walk in complete and total victory.

APOSTOLIC AND PROPHETIC MINISTRY
Early in 2010, our pastors began the work of learning more about the importance of the restoration of the apostolic and the prophetic mantels within the local church. Fuelled by a new understanding of the importance of Davidic worship ministry, the foundation was laid for us to begin to step into a new level of power as a local church community. During this time, several key prophetic and apostolic voices imparted into our pastors and in turn gave them wisdom and insight that they have utilized in the planting of Love Quest International Church. We believe that we are to continue to build and function upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, move in Spirit led and Truth filled worship. We are a church family of breakthrough believers who are free indeed as we create an atmosphere to host the presence of God and experience the tangible evidence that our King Lives. We believe in the equipping and establishing of all of the 5 fold ministry gifts as governing gifts within our house as we steward the calls that have been brought to our community.

THE GIFT AND BAPTISM BY THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS
The gift to the world is salvation through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ – yet the gift of the infilling of the Holy Spirit is the gift to the believer. Through the death of Jesus Christ we have been reconciled back to the Father and given the gift of the Holy Spirit to empower us to live a life of power. The Holy Spirit is what makes us bold, He empowers us to live a life that demonstrates that our God is not dead but alive. It is His work of empowerment that transforms us from simply being Christians that are not going to hell to actively living a life that extends the work of the Kingdom and truly impact our local, national and global communities.
